Züri-Tirggel mixed 100g

Züri-Tirggel is a traditional Zurich biscuit made from honey, flour, sugar and water. The biblical or local pictorial motifs are pressed into the dough with wooden models and then baked in the oven at high top heat, giving the biscuits a dark surface and a light underside. Tirggel should be left to melt slowly on the tongue so that the honey flavour can develop.
