Ginger China spicy

The spicy ginger pieces are candied with a small amount of sugar and are more intense and spicy than the milder variety. The pieces can be enjoyed as a healthy snack, or can also be used for cooking, for pastries or for making ginger tea.
For the tea cut 1-2 pieces into thin slices, simmer together with 1 litre of water for 5-10 min., then strain.
