This 100% cocoa bar surprises with restrained acidity. It is unusually mild and almost sweet with notes of dates and an intense cocoa aroma. A must for every chocolate lover! Harvested and processed with dedication and perfectionism by local, experienced farmers.

Firetree was founded in 2017 by David Zulman, Martyn O’Dare and Aidan Bishop. Taking advantage of their experience in the chocolate industry, they now produce small batches of single-origin chocolates. The cocoa used comes from islands of volcanic origin around the Pacific fire belt. This, and the fact that a cacao tree full of ripe, bright red, yellow and orange pods can also look like it is on fire, led to the name “Firetree”.
